Hound was one of my two favorite characters when I was a kid. He’s still a favorite of mine, although now there are several other Autobots I like a lot. Here he is next to the Alternator version of Hound. I really like how you can pose the Alternator figures. I put the Generation One sticker set from Reprolabels on my Hound Alternator. |

Hound’s Road Trip The one day trip took us from the Vancouver Lower Mainland, up the valley toward Hope. From there we drove north up the Fraser Canyon to Lytton, and then west over to Lillooet. Hound loved the trip along the narrow dirt road along the canyon high above Bridge River, and was awestruck by the vista from the top of Mission Mountain, overlooking Seton Lake and Seton-Portage. The mountains were so huge it made him feel small. Before starting up the Fraser Canyon, we stopped at Harrison Hot Springs to see the annual sand sculpture competition. |

The trip back along the Highline was pretty rough in a few places. Hound thought it may have shaken something loose, but he said he would have Ratchet check it out when he got back to the Ark. By the end of the day we drove nearly eleven hours. I was ready for some dinner and Hound wanted to stop also and have some of the energon he brought along for the trip, so we stopped in Whistler. It looked like a nice place. Hound thought he might like to come back and check it out some time, as there are a lot of interesting outdoor activities. It was late when we parted ways and I went home. I was tired and glad I didn’t have to drive… Below are the pictures from our trip. |
