The next fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak,” is now posted for your reading pleasure.  Click here or go to the Fan Fic page to find the story.

Cyberpsychic Bluestreak is a comedy centered around the Autobot gunner, Bluestreak.  In this story, an Insecticon electro-bite gives Bluestreak mysterious powers.

The artwork for the story has been started.  When the digital line art is finished, you’ll see the thumbnail posted on the Fan Art page.

As of today, the draft of the next fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak” is finished!  Now, the fic will go through editing. The story will be posted soon.

Most of the year has passed, but I’m finally able to say that the fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak” is nearing completion. The draft has just hit 70 pages long, which is a lot longer than I had originally imagined it would be.  The storyline is just wrapping up now and it should be done sometime soon. Before it is posted, though, it’ll go through editing. Typically, this doesn’t take very long. So, hang tight...the story will be posted soon enough!

Here’s the picture of Bumblebee I’ve been working on for a while.  It’s a fall-themed picture. While they were out picking pumpkins for Halloween, Hound had a sense of humor and thought it would be funny to cast a hologram of the Insecticon, Bombshell, onto Bumblebee. A bumblebee is a kind of insect, after all. The joke catches Bumblebee by surprise.  He doesn’t particularly like looking like a Decepticon, but eventually finds the humor in the moment.

Bumblebee's New Disguise

Whoa, has it really been almost two months since I posted an update? Time flies.

I started drawing a new fan art picture. So far the only thing done is the line art of Bumblebee. You can’t see much of him in the thumbnail on the fan art page, however I can say that he looks much better when you see the rest of him. Now, on to drawing the next character in the picture!

I’ve picked away at Cyberpsychic Bluestreak for a while now without much progress. Writing is very tiring both literally and creatively, so I realized a while ago that I had to take more breaks in writing if the story was going to turn out.  I’m going to giving it another go again.  So I hope that those waiting for it can be patient. This is a hobby that I work in around everything else in life, and it needs to be relaxed.

I’ve wanted to draw a picture of Megatron for a while now, but couldn’t think of something interesting enough to draw him doing. After some thought, I eventually decided upon an idea. The title of the picture is what the Decepticon leader is saying in this picture.

"Report, Laserbeak."

I would like to hear from you, the fans, about the content on this site, so I’m starting an online poll section. The first poll is on a question I’ve wanted to ask for awhile now.  Would you like to see a sequel to my fan fic, “The Spark Cell?” To answer, please click on the new online poll icon in the side bar.

The reason I haven’t written a sequel is that I wanted to establish other stories in the canon Transformers universe.  Not everyone is interested in reading about fan-created original characters. The Spark Cell branches off with my re-take of the Autobot Spike concept - which was my favorite season 2 episode.  I think there is a lot that can be done with the idea.  While I do enjoy writing, it is a phenomenal amount of effort to write a fan fic, so I’d like to know if other people would enjoy reading it before I venture the effort into a sequel.

I’ve been on a roll with fan art lately. The next picture in the works is of Megatron with Laserbeak. An “in progress” thumbnail is up on the Fan Art page.

Today, I had a burst of inspiration and wrote out notes for most of the rest of the fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak.”  This is good because it’s much easier to write and keep on track with notes to guide the second half of the story. With my  holidays about to start, I’m hoping to get as much as possible written in the next while.

Note: why it’s taking so long to finish the fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak:” Have no worries...it will eventually be finished and posted. I’m not about to forget about it or anything like that. As I’ve alluded to in past posts here, 2009 has been an eventful year for me. The recent slowness with the story is due largely to a career change.  Learning to do something entirely different has been quite draining at times.  I’m about three months into the new job now.

It’s probably about time for a comment about why it’s taking so long to finish the fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak.”  Have no worries...it will eventually be finished and posted. I’m not about to forget about it or anything like that.  As I’ve alluded to in past posts here, 2009 has been an eventful year for me. I blame the recent slowness with the story on the career change. Learning to do something entirely different has been quite draining at times.  I’m three months into the new job now.

That said, I’ve been working on a picture of Swindle lately. The drawings I do are fairly spontaneous and random. I tend to draw whatever neat idea jumps into my mind.  Swindle was always my favorite Combaticon, until I wrote “Raven’s Quarry.”  It surprised me how much I liked Blast Off after finishing that story.  Now it’s almost a tie between Swindle and Blast Off for the title of favorite Combaticon.

Slowly, I’m getting faster at both drawing and coloring pictures.  Here is a picture of Thundercracker. He is standing on the open jaw of the docking tower, the telescoping exit from Decepticon Headquarters beneath the Pacific Ocean. In this picture, he’s about to leap into the air to transform into jet mode.

Here’s a new piece of fan art. The entire picture was drawn and colored in Photoshop. The sunrise background was good practice at digital painting.

Well, it’s been over a month since I made an update here...

Life has been much busier and more eventful than usual this year, so I’ve been taking a bit of a break from the Transformers world.  It’s hard to write comedy at times, so the fan fic, “Cyberpsychic Bluestreak” looks like it’s going to plod along for a while. I’m only going to write humor when the time is right.

Another fan art picture is underway. I like Hound...so guess who this is a picture of?
